Olivia Camblin: Fashion Portfolio
I’ve always believed that fashion is much more than clothing. It is a way to tell stories, preserve memories, tell stories, inspire confidence, and showcase personality. Whether I’m developing a merchandising concept, producing an editorial, forecasting trends, or designing apparel, I approach every project with curiosity, intention and a passion for visual communication.
Growing up, I found inspiration in unexpected places. From exploring the Rocky Mountains through hiking, camping, fishing, rock climbing, and off-roading, to studying the historical and modern social and cultural movements that shape the way people express themselves, I've learned that the most meaningful design is rooted in authentic experiences. These influences continue to shape my creative perspective and inspire the way I approach fashion, branding, and consumer engagement.
I recently graduated from Ball State University with a degree in Fashion Industry Studies and a minor in Strategic Communications, where I built a multidisciplinary foundation in buying, visual merchandising, marketing, consumer research, public relations, advertising, graphic design, branding, design thinking, product development, trend forecasting, technical design, and creative direction. Throughout my academic and professional experiences, I've discovered that my greatest strength lies in blending analytical thinking with creativity to develop thoughtful, consumer-centered solutions that are both strategic and visually compelling.
Above all, I strive to create work with purpose. Whether I'm building an immersive retail environment, developing a functional apparel concept, or crafting a brand story, my goal remains the same: to create meaningful experiences that celebrate individuality, inspire confidence, and leave a lasting impression.

Each project reflects a balance of creativity, market awareness, and retail insight.
Metamorphosis
Completed through Ball State University’s Special Events Planning course, Metamorphosis is a student-led runway production that brings together fashion, creativity, and event management. As a Marketing Leader, I collaborated on developing the show’s promotional strategy by leading team meetings, creating social media and flyer content, supporting ticket sales, and helping shape the event’s overall brand identity. This experience strengthened my skills in creative leadership, collaboration, and fashion marketing while contributing to the success of a large-scale student-run event.
Physical & Digital Visual Storytelling
Bringing together graphic design, digital media, and fashion-inspired visuals, this collection highlights my approach to storytelling through composition, typography, imagery, and creative direction.
